Kinetic Cavity Preparation (KCP)
Our younger patients love it! Nicknamed the sandblaster,
this device scours away decayed tooth material using a fine
jet of harmless, bio-compatible particles. The KCP system
is so gentle that the vast majority of patients don't even
require anaesthetic. This allows us to work on different areas
of the mouth during the same visit, saving you the time and
inconvenience of another trip to the office.

Ultra-Sonic Scaler
Simply put, a scaler is our hygeinist's way of cleaning
your teeth with water – a very controlled, high-pressure
stream of water. Our scaler operates on a much shorter frequency,
or wavelength, than most scalers. The result is a cleaning
that is faster and more comfortable than traditional procedures.

CEREC 3
Our state-of-the-art CEREC 3 system allows us to offer
our patients completed inlays and onlays in just one appointment.
The Cerec 3 is a CAD/CIM system that allows us to design
and manufacture custom tooth-coloured restorations from ceramic.
This eliminates traditional impressions, temporary fillings,
and the second appointment (and thus the second freezing).
The Cerec ceramic contains no metal and is the closest restoration
to actual enamel. This brings your Cerec-restored teeth back
to their original strength and appearance.
The Cerec system has been in use for over 13 years, mostly
in Europe. Siemens introduced Cerec to North America in 1997,
and since then over 4,000 systems have been installed. Clinical
studies show that Cerec restorations are lasting at least
as long as gold, yet look like natural teeth!
Your teeth are white – not silver. And so your fillings
should look like your teeth, not auto parts.
Please ask us for a demonstration on your next visit!

Diagnodent
The Diagnodent is a powerful new laser used for early
detection and diagnosis of tooth decay. The Diagnodent also
makes it easier to find decay that may be hidden in the cracks
and crevices of teeth. Earlier detection means less damage,
pain, and hassle for you down the road. Please contact our

Intraoral Camera
The intraoral camera is a revolutionary diagnostic dental
tool allowing us to more identify potential problems within
the mouth early on. The tiny intraoral camera can be inserted
into a patient's mouth, taking pictures of the teeth and displaying
the images on a computer screen. Using the intraoral camera
saves time and makes problems easily visible to both patient
and doctor. Patients can view the areas we will be working
on, making procedures more understandable. The accompanying
software also provides clear and accurate data so that the
best treatment options can be selected. To learn more about
the intraoral camera, please contact our office today.

Casey Interactive System
Having a thorough understanding of the dental procedures
we perform allows our patients to make informed decisions
about their treatment. Our Casey Interactive System is a state-of-the-art
multimedia program that helps us educate patients in a clear,
concise manner.
The Intra-oral camera, a diagnostic tool that displays areas
of a patient's mouth on a high-resolution video monitor, combines
with the Casey system to show the patient exactly how a procedure
is to be performed.
With our educational and diagnostic equipment, you'll always
know what we're going to do, and why it's being done.

Veneers
Veneers, which slide snugly over teeth, offer the perfect
solution to stained, chipped, cracked, injured, and misaligned
teeth. An excellent alternative to crowns, they look completely
natural, are resistant to injury, and are long-lasting, making
them one of the most effective cosmetic procedures options
available. To learn about veneers, please contact us today.

Crowns
Also called caps, crowns fit over teeth to hide misshaping,
misalignment, cracks, discoloration, or other imperfections.
Crowns alleviate pain in teeth and offer extra support to
those teeth that are weak or injured. They can greatly enhance
the appearance of your smile and make your teeth much more
durable. To learn more about crowns, please contact us today.

Bridges
Bridges are an excellent way to fill in missing-tooth gaps
with natural-looking artificial teeth. They can also correct
speaking and chewing problems, and decrease strains felt when
biting. Bridges can only be removed by a dentist (so they
are semi-permanent), but they are comfortable, discreet, and
known to strengthen existing teeth. To find out if bridges
are right for you, please contact us today.

Tooth-Colored Composite Fillings
Unsightly, potentially dangerous mercury fillings are now
things of the past. Our practice uses only tooth-colored,
mercury-free fillings to repair teeth. These fillings, composed
of resin, ceramic or porcelain, are bonded to your teeth and
look much more natural and are more comfortable than their
metal counterparts. To learn more about tooth-colored fillings,
please contact us today.

Dental Implants
Dental implants attach artificial teeth below the gumline.
An anchor secures the implant in place and allows the bone
and gums to grow around it. Because dental implants require
surgery, they work well only for candidates with sufficient
bone and healthy gums. For more information about dental implants,
please contact us today.

Bonding
A less expensive and invasive remedy than crowns or veneers,
bonding is a great way to mask chipped, stained, injured,

layer of plastic is painted onto the damaged teeth, adding
strength and making them virtually indistinguishable from
natural teeth. To find out if bonding is right for you, please

WaterlaseTM
A New Era in Dentistry!
Our office is now equipped with the
WaterlaseTM
-a breakthrough in laser dentistry.
Laser energized water, HydrokineticsTM replaces the drill in
many instances. WaterlaseTM does away with whine of the drill.
Since there is no heat or vibration, the WaterlaseTM reduces
the need for needles and anesthesia.
What is WaterlaseTM Technology?
WaterlaseTM uses the HydrokineticTM process which gently washes
away decay with YSGG laser-energized water droplets. HydrokineticTM
energy is produced by combining a spray of atomized water
with Laser energy. The resulting WaterlaseTM (HydrokineticTM)
energy gently and precisely removes a wide range of human
tissue including tooth enamel (the hardest substance in the
body), and soft tissue (gum tissue) with no heat or discomfort
in most cases.
What are the benefits of WaterlaseTM?
No Drills, No Needles, No numbness—in most cases.
- Heat and vibration are the causes of most of the discomfort
associated with the drill. Since HydrokineticTM
cutting does not transmit heat or vibration, MANY
DENTAL PROCEDURES CAN BE PERFORMED WITHOUT ANESTHESIA, IN
MOST CASES.
- The laser’s pinpoint accuracy is precise enough
that your dentist can leave in place as much healthy tooth
structure as possible, allowing you to keep your own teeth
longer.
- Gently performs numerous soft tissue (gums) procedures
with little or no bleeding. The laser gives your dentist
a new high-tech tool for many procedures that previously
required referral to a specialist. Now you can have them
performed during your scheduled appointment and feel better
afterwards!
- The WaterlaseTM prepares your teeth in a way that maximizes
the bonding of tooth colored fillings, allowing them to
last longer.
WaterlaseTM
Better enamel Bonding & Beautiful Recontouring Cavity
preparation with NO smear layer, which increases bond strength
and provides you with longer lasting fillings.
WaterlaseTM - A Safe Treatment
In the hands of your trained dentist, the WaterlaseTM
is a safe medical device. The laser provides pin point accuracy,
reducing the chance of causing damage to healthy tissues.
The primary safety measure necessary during laser treatment
is proper protective glasses.
What can the WaterlaseTM
be used for?
- Root Canals
- Decay Removal
- Cavity Preparation
- Smile Design
- General soft tissue procedures
- General dentistry for enamel and dentin
- Avoid the shot & being “numbed”
